2026 Membership Application
The Membership Application for 22026 is being updated and will be on this website soon! Check back regularly. New members must fill out an application - existing members should provide on if any of their information has changed!! You can bring it to your first match.
EVENTS OVERVIEW in 2026!
1500 MATCHES - Based on input and a membership vote at the 2025 Business Meeting, there will be a few 1500 matches scheduled this year. The intent is to decrease the number of matches needed to get classified or reclassified.
AFTERNOON MATCHES - A few afternoon matches will be held at the SC CJA range this year. These will be held on Thursdays and should provide good lighing conditions.
POLICE ACTION MATCHES - Also based on input and membership vote, Police Action matches will be held after the PPC matches on April 11 and September 12. These matches are scenario based with movement, use of cover, reloads, etc. and will be scored similar to a USPSA match (details later).
2026 Palmetto State Regional
The 2026 Palmetto State Regional, a NRA Registered Match, will again be held this year on May 29th and 30th this year at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy firing range located at 5400 Broad River Road in Columbia South Carolina. May 28 is a practice day,, and you may shoot your Regional shotgun score that day OR during the Regional (details in the Schedule). Registration information will be posted here when available.
PLEASE NOTE... Due to logistical and possible BATFE ramifications, firearms will not be awarded this year as Major Prize Table prizes. Gift certificates/cards of similar value will be issued from both local and nationwide shipping firearms/accessories dealers!
Palmetto State Challenge
THE S.C. POLICE COMBAT LEAGUE is looking for new shooters. In 2026, over around 30 service matches will be held in various locations in the state. In order to be eligible, you must never have fired in a league NRA PPC service pistol match. You must fire in at least 3 of the service matches. Your top 2 scores will be averaged to determine your overall aggregate score. You may fire in as many matches as you wish. You may fire a revolver (barrel not to exceed 4 inches), or a service auto (barrel not to exceed 5.5 inches). You can mix and match your scores.
We will award the top 3 shooters a pistol to be given at the S.C. Police Combat League Governor’s Top Twenty luncheon after the season. The top 33% of competitors will win awards. All of the information regarding rules, course of fire, and equipment may be found at the NRA Law Enforcement Division website (PPC Rules - See especially Sections 3. (except 3.2 to 3.5, 4, 5, and 7.9).
2026 Stephen "Snake" Wilson State Championship Match
The 2026 Stephen "Snake" Wilson State Championship, a NRA Registered Match, will again be held on Saturday, October 3 this year at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy firing range located at 5400 Broad River Road in Columbia South Carolina.
